Different educational qualifications have been fixed for each post. For Assistant Entomologist, postgraduate degree in Biology (Entomology) is required. For Vector Borne Disease Control Officer and Inspector, one must be a graduate in Science. For the post of Block Statistics Supervisor, Junior Statistics Assistant and Investigator, graduate degree with Mathematics, Economics or Statistics has been sought.

For Cow Technical Officer, a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology or Dairy Science is required. For Fisheries Extension Supervisor, a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science or Zoology is required. For the post of Auditor, a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce or Statistics will be considered. For Junior Scientific Assistant, a graduate or post-graduate degree in Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medical Science has been sought. Also, in some cases, lab experience is also necessary. For Lab Assistant, one must have a bachelor’s degree with Honors in the relevant subject.

what is the age limit

Talking about the age of the candidates applying, the minimum age has been kept at 21 years. The maximum age for unreserved and EWS category is 35 years. For Extremely Backward and Backward Classes (Male) the limit is 37 years. For women this limit is 38 years. The maximum age for male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe has been kept at 40 years.

how will the exam be

The selection process will be in two stages: preliminary examination and main examination. A total of 120 questions will be asked in the preliminary examination and the time for this will be 2 hours. There will be 30 questions of General Studies, 60 questions of knowledge related to Jharkhand, 10 questions of General Mathematics, 10 questions of General Science and 10 questions of mental ability test.

The process of online application for this recruitment will start from June 1 and will continue till June 30.
