You can set the limit for watching shorts to zero
As soon as you open YouTube, shorts are visible along with other videos. Once the shorts are tapped then the next 5-10 minutes are sure to be useless. Show fewer Shorts button is available on YouTube app, but it works only for 30 days. In such a situation, shorts are sure to appear on your feed again and again. In October last year, the company had added the option of time limit, in which a minimum time of 15 minutes could be set. Now by changing this setting the company has given the option to reduce the time limit to zero. This means that after setting the time limit to zero, shorts will not go.
How to set time limit to zero?
- Open YouTube and tap the profile icon.
- Now tap on the gear icon to go to the time management dashboard.
- Here a toggle for short feed limit will be visible in the daily limit.
- After tapping on this, the option of time limit will appear in front of you. Set zero minutes in it.
- After this, close the app completely and reopen it.
Let us tell you that now this feature has become available for YouTube mobile apps. It has not been rolled out yet on desktop and TV apps and information about the company’s planning in this regard has also not been revealed yet.
