JNU MBA Admissions 2026: If you are dreaming of doing MBA from any reputed university of the country, then this is a golden opportunity for you. Jawaharlal Nehru University i.e. JNU has started the application process for admission to MBA 2026-28 batch. Students who have appeared for CAT 2025 exam and want to study management can now apply online. JNU’s MBA program is run under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME). This institute does not provide education limited to books to the students, but also provides practical information related to the industry. This is the reason why JNU’s MBA program has become increasingly popular among students in the last few years.
Why is JNU’s MBA program special?
JNU is counted among the most prestigious central universities of the country. The MBA program here has been designed keeping in mind modern management education and entrepreneurship. In this course, students are not only taught theory, but they are also given training to understand real life business problems and find solutions to them. The MBA course in JNU was started in the year 2019. Since then, five batches have completed their studies here. Many students of these batches are working in big companies and reputed institutions. Last date for MBA from JNU
The application process for JNU MBA 2026-28 batch has started. Interested candidates can apply online till 15 May 2026. This time the university has reopened the application process so that CAT pass candidates can get another chance.
Who can apply?
To apply for the MBA program, a candidate must have a graduation degree of at least 3 years from a recognized university. In which 50 percent marks are required for General, OBC and EWS category students and 45 percent marks are required for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Apart from this, the candidate must have a valid score of CAT 2025. GMAT scores will be considered for foreign students.
How will the selection process be?
Admission in JNU MBA will not be given only on the basis of CAT score. The university also gives importance to the personality and communication skills of the students. The selection process will be completed in three phases, in which maximum 70 percent weightage is given to CAT 2025 score. After this the shortlisted candidates have to participate in Group Discussion (GD), the last stage is Personal Interview (PI), which is given 20 percent weightage.

What is the application fee?
To apply for JNU MBA 2026-28, candidates will have to deposit the application fee as per their category. The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category students has been fixed at Rs 2000, while SC, ST and PwD category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000. The university has kept the entire application process online, hence the fees will also have to be paid through online mode like debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.

While filling the online form, candidates will have to upload some important documents. Which includes passport size photo, signature, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, graduation mark sheet and CAT 2025 scorecard.
