Overall, about 15,27,724 students had appeared in the 10th (SSC) and 12th (HSC) board examinations of Gujarat Board. To conduct these examinations without any cheating and hassle, 1701 examination centers were created in the entire state. Talking only about class 10th, about 9,07,175 students had registered for this board examination of the year 2026. Compared to last year, this year there has been an increase in both the number of students passing and the passing percentage. Last year, more than 7 lakh children took the exam and the passing percentage was 83.08%. At the same time, this time this figure has increased to 83.86%.

After the release of results, many people often visit the official website, due to which the website may run a little slow. You can check your result by following the easy steps given below.

  • First of all, open the official website of Gujarat Board, gseb.org, in the browser of your mobile, laptop or computer.
  • As soon as you go to the homepage of the website, you will see the direct link of SSC-2026 Exam Result. This link has now been fully activated, click on it.
  • After clicking, a new page will open in front of you, where you will be asked for your six-digit seat number in a box.
  • Fill in your seat number correctly and click on the Go button given right next to it.
  • As soon as you press the button, your complete scorecard (marksheet) will appear on your screen.
  • In this scorecard, your marks and pass/fail status of each subject will be written. Download it immediately and take a printout of it and keep it with you for future.

Many times, due to low internet speed or website server being down, there is a lot of difficulty in viewing the result. To overcome this problem of students, this time the board has also provided special facility of WhatsApp and SMS. This method is very fast and very easy.

How many marks are required to pass?

According to Gujarat Board rules, to pass the 10th class examination, every student is required to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject and all subjects taken together.

Opportunity for compartment exam also

Students who have not been able to score 33 percent marks or have failed in one or two subjects, there is no need to worry. Gujarat Board gives such students a chance to save their year. Such students can fill the compartment (supplementary or supplementary) examination form. According to the information received from the board, these supplementary examinations will be conducted in the last week of June 2026.
