Central Reserve Police Force has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of constable. Candidates interested and eligible to apply for these posts can apply online by visiting the official website rect.crpf.gov.in. The application process for this recruitment will start from 20 April 2026 and will continue till 19 May 2026. Candidates can follow the steps given here to apply.
A total of 9175 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. This opportunity is special for those youth who want to make a strong career by serving the country. For General Constable posts, the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 27 years as on January 1, 2026. That means the candidate should not be born before 2 January 1999 and after 1 January 2005.
At the same time, for some trade posts like motor mechanic, cobbler, carpenter, tailor, band, gardener, bugler, painter, cook, barber, washerman, water carrier, sweeper, mason, plumber and electrician, the age limit has been fixed at 18 to 23 years. For these posts, date of birth should not be before 2 January 2003 and after 1 January 2008.
What will the selection process be like?
Selection in this recruitment will be done in several stages, so that only eligible and fit candidates can move forward. Selection process includes:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Measurement Test (PST)
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Trade/Skill Test
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (DME/RME)
PET and PST will be conducted with modern digital equipment and RFID technology, so that the entire process remains transparent. Candidates who will be successful in PET and PST will be called for CBT examination.

How much is the application fee?
Male candidates of General, EWS and OBC category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 per post. At the same time, SC, ST, women candidates of all categories and ex-servicemen have been exempted from the fee. Fee can be paid online through BHIM, UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or CSC Wallet.
