- Questions are being raised on NTA’s online examination system.
There have been reports of technical problems at many examination centers in Delhi and Noida during the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026. Students have complained about glitches in the computer system, answers not being saved and exams being submitted before time. After the incident, questions have started being raised on the online examination system of NTA.
Technical problems surfaced at many examination centers
At some examination centers located in Delhi’s Sarita Vihar, Karkardooma and Noida Sector-62, students faced technical problems during the examination. According to the information, the computer systems were not working properly during the examination of subjects like Accounts, Economics and Business Studies.
Students say that despite choosing the option several times, the answers were not being recorded on the screen. Some students claimed that the system suddenly froze, while many candidates’ papers were auto-submitted without permission.

Students alleged that the exams were being affected
According to the candidates, they immediately informed the invigilator and technical staff about the problem, but the solution could not be found in time. Many students said that a lot of their time was wasted due to technical glitches, due to which they could not solve all the questions. Some students also said that adequate technical support was not available at the examination centres. Due to this there was tension and resentment among the students.
Questions raised on NTA’s CBT system
After the incident, questions have started being raised regarding the Computer Based Test (CBT) system of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students and parents have demanded an investigation into the matter to maintain the fairness of the examination process and provide relief to the affected candidates. Many people associated with the education sector believe that strong technical arrangements are very important in large-scale online examinations, so that students do not have to face any kind of problem.
Awaiting NTA’s reply
A response has been sought from NTA on behalf of ABP News regarding the matter. At present no official statement has come from the agency. The eyes of students and parents are now fixed on the response and possible action of NTA.
