The wait of lakhs of youth who appeared in the Uttar Pradesh Lekhpal Recruitment Examination is finally over. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the provisional answer key of Lekhpal Main Examination 2026. The special thing is that the Commission has given great relief to the candidates by releasing the answer key the very next day after the end of the examination.
A large number of candidates from across the state had appeared in this examination held on 21 May 2026. Since the examination, candidates were waiting for the answer key so that they could assess their performance. Now, through the provisional answer key released by the Commission, candidates can compare their answers and understand the result of their preparation.
Got a big update immediately after the exam
Generally, in competitive examinations, it takes several days or sometimes weeks for the answer key to be released. But this time the Commission showed speed and released the answer key on the very next day of the examination. This has brought relief to lakhs of candidates.
Now the candidates have got a chance to estimate how well they have performed in the examination without waiting for the result. Many candidates have even started estimating the cutoff by calculating their probable marks.
Answer key will be available till 28th May
According to the information released by the Commission, the provisional answer key will be available on the official website till 28 May 2026. Candidates can view and download it anytime by visiting the website during this period.
The answer key has been uploaded in such a format that candidates do not face any problem in viewing the answers. In this, all the questions have been given in both Hindi and English languages. Besides, the correct answer is also recorded below each question. With this, candidates can easily match their answers.

Candidates of both shifts will get benefit
UP Lekhpal Main Examination was conducted in two shifts. Separate answer keys have been released for the candidates appearing in both first and second shifts.
The biggest advantage of this will be that all the candidates will be able to see the correct answers according to their respective shifts. This will make it easier to understand what their position is in the examination and how strong their chances of selection appear.
Indication of performance will be given even before the result
After the release of the answer key, candidates can count their correct and incorrect answers. This will give them an idea of their probable score.
This stage is very important for many candidates as it helps them decide the direction of further preparation.
