- Students who are dissatisfied with their 12th marks will be able to get a scanned copy of the answer sheet.
- Students will apply for scanned copy from 19th to 22nd May.
- There will be applications for verification and re-evaluation from 26th to 29th May.
- Marks may increase or decrease in re-evaluation, apply wisely.
CBSE has announced post result facilities for students after the release of 12th board exam 2026 results. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can now get the scanned copy of the answer sheet through online mode and can also apply for verification or re-evaluation if needed. The board has released the complete process and application dates.
According to reports, students will be able to apply to get a scanned copy of their answer sheet from May 19, 2026. The last date for application has been fixed as 22 May 2026. For this, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 700 per subject.
Verification and re-evaluation dates
After receiving the scanned copy of the answer sheet, students will be able to apply for marks verification and re-evaluation. The online application process for this will run from 26 May to 29 May 2026. For verification, a fee of Rs 500 per answer sheet has been fixed, while for re-evaluation, a fee of Rs 100 per question will have to be paid.
The process will be completed in two phases
According to the guidelines issued by CBSE, the re-evaluation process will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, students will get the scanned copy of the answer sheet of the concerned subject. After this, in the second phase, students will be able to apply for verification and re-evaluation of answers.
Take decision carefully before applying
CBSE has advised students to decide before applying whether they want to apply for one subject or more than one subject. Once you apply, you will not be given a second chance.
Marks may also be less
After re-evaluation, marks may increase as well as decrease. If there is any change in the marks, the student will have to submit the old marksheet and certificate. After this a new certificate will be issued by the board.

Only these students will get the facility of re-evaluation
According to media reports, only those students will be able to apply for verification and re-evaluation who have previously applied to obtain the scanned copy of the answer sheet.
Application will be online only
The entire process will be completed through online mode only. It will be mandatory for students to submit application and fees within the prescribed time limit. Applications will be accepted only once for each phase.
