CBSE Board is going to release the result of class 12th soon. Students will be able to check the results by visiting the official websites cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Besides, the result can also be checked in many other ways. Every year, on the result day, there is a lot of traffic on the website, due to which the site becomes slow. Keeping this in mind, this time also the board has arranged for three separate servers, so that the students do not face any kind of problem.
In this board exam, 18.59 lakh students appeared for it between February 17 and April 10. Now the board can declare the result anytime between 11th to 17th May 2026. CBSE also makes digital marksheets of students available on DigiLocker. Some time after the release of the result, students can download their marksheet by logging into the DigiLocker app or website. For this, you will have to go to the ‘Education’ section and select CBSE board. Marksheet will be available as soon as you enter roll number and passing year.
If there is no internet then result will be available through SMS also.
Even if there is internet problem at the time of results, there is no need to panic. CBSE also provides results through SMS. One has to go to the message box of the mobile and type the information in a format – “CBSE12 Roll Number, Date of Birth, School Number, Center Number” and send this message to 7738299899. Within some time, subject wise marks are received through SMS.

View result on mobile through Umang app
For students who want to check results from mobile, UMANG app of Government of India is a good option. Search CBSE in this app and click on the class 12th result link. As soon as the required information is filled, the complete scorecard will appear on the mobile screen. This method is especially beneficial for those students who do not have a computer or laptop.

The process of viewing the result is very easy. Students first go to the official website. There the link of “Senior School Certificate Examination Results 2026” will appear. As soon as you click on it, a new page will open. Here roll number, school code and admit card ID have to be filled. As soon as it is submitted, the provisional marksheet will appear on the screen. Students can download it and also take a print out.
