Belarus is one of the cheapest countries in the world to study MBBS. The cost of living here is only Rs 15 to 20 per month and the cost of the entire education is around Rs 26 to 28 lakh. The medical degree here is recognized by WHO and NMC and the level of education is also considered to be of international quality.
Apart from this, you can study MBBS in Kazakhstan. Here MBBS study is of 5 years. For admission here, at least 50 percent marks in 12th is required. After completing their studies, Indian students have to pass the FMGE exam, so that they can practice in India. The total expenditure here comes to around Rs 25 to 26 lakh.
Russia is the first choice of Indian students for studying MBBS. Here the MBBS course is of six years duration. There are many old universities in Russia which provide MBBS studies in English medium. Affordable MBBS can also be studied in the Philippines. Medical education in the Philippines focuses on clinical subjects and critical training. Here students get the model of working with senior doctors. The cost of studies ranges from Rs 20 to 22 lakh and loan facility is available here.
The duration of MBBS course in China is six years. Which includes 5 years of study and 1 year of internship. There are scholarship programs here which make education even more affordable. For admission here, 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are required. The total expenditure here is around Rs 29 to 30 lakh and internship is considered valid in India also.
Apart from Russia, China, Philippines, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Indian students can also study MBBS in countries like Georgia, Uzbekistan, Germany and Poland. All these countries provide affordable medical education along with better clinical exposure.
