If a candidate submits more than one form, whether for the same subject or for different subjects, only the last submitted form will be valid. All remaining forms will be cancelled. Therefore, avoid filling the form again and again. Before applying, fill all the information carefully and double-check.
Choose your topic wisely
Choosing the subject is the most important step while filling the form in UGC NET. No changes can be made in the subject after the form is submitted. The candidate should choose the subject in which he has done post graduation. Choosing the wrong subject not only risks rejection of the application but can also affect the result and eligibility for the exam. 1. Application for UGC NET June 2026 will be made online only. So first of all the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in Go to.
2. Now fill the required information and complete the registration.
3. Fill personal information, educational qualification and subject selection correctly.
4. After this upload photo, signature and other necessary documents.
5. Deposit the application fee through online mode.
6. After submitting the form, keep its printout safe. Keep your mobile number and email active during the application, because all the information related to the examination will be sent through these mediums.
Important dates of UGC NET form
The application process for UGC NET June 2026 has started from 29 April 2026 and candidates can apply till 20 May 2026. The last date for payment of application fee is also on the same day, hence it is important to take care of both. If there is any mistake in the application, candidates can make corrections using the correction window between 22 to 24 May 2026. For information related to the exam, the exam city slip will be issued by 10 June 2026 and the admit card will be issued by 15 June 2026. This year the examination will be conducted from 22 to 30 June 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
