In the research, data of about 96 thousand people was analyzed. In this, it was seen what effect their daily activities and especially intense exercise has on their health. For this, the participants were made to wear a special device for a week, through which their activities were recorded accurately. After this, his health was tracked for about seven years. During this time, researchers found that people who did more vigorous activities had less risk of many diseases. In particular, the risk of dementia was found to be reduced by 63 percent, the risk of type-2 diabetes was reduced by 60 percent and the risk of death was found to be reduced by 46 percent.

Research also revealed that it has different effects on different diseases. For example, in inflammatory diseases like arthritis and psoriasis, the intensity of exercise matters more, whereas in diabetes and liver disease, both the quantity and intensity of exercise are important. This research shows that even a few minutes of vigorous exercise a day can make a big difference in your health. However, experts have also warned that intense exercise is not right for everyone.
