
Panic attack is a sudden attack of fear or anxiety. In a panic attack, the person feels that something terrible is about to happen. In this, the heartbeat increases, problems like breathing stoppage occur, sweating occurs, numbness or tingling is felt in the hands and legs.

In a panic attack, a person may experience symptoms like rapid heartbeat or nervousness, difficulty in breathing or suffocation, sweating or trembling, chest pain or discomfort, feeling dizzy or faint, numbness or tingling in hands and feet, feeling isolated from oneself and fear of dying or losing control.
