Phone Storage Saving Tips: There is always a problem of storage in the phone. No matter how big a phone you buy with lots of storage, after some time it gets completely filled. In such a situation, apart from photos, videos and files, the only option left is to delete the apps. Many times photos and videos cannot be deleted. In such a situation, most users free up storage by deleting the app. Today we will tell you some ways by which you will be able to free up storage even without deleting the app.
Apps will be automatically archived
Archiving apps is a better option instead of deleting them. Due to this, your progress is not lost and you do not have to download it again if needed. For this, you have to go to Play Store and enable a setting. After this, whenever the storage in your phone starts running low, the phone system will automatically archive those apps which you use the least.
Enable settings like this
To automatically archive apps, open Play Store. Now go to Settings by tapping on the profile icon visible on the upper-right corner of the screen. In this, tap on General and turn on the Automatically archive apps switch. This will automatically archive the app. To use it again you will have to download it again. As soon as you open it, your old progress and data will be restored.
Clear cached app data
Apart from archiving apps, you can also save space by deleting the cached data of apps. This is a time taking process and you will have to go to the settings of each app and clear its cache data. You will find this feature in many phones. In phones which do not have this option, this data can be cleared with the help of third-party apps.
