This time a big change is going to happen for lakhs of students studying from UP Board. UP Secondary Education Council has decided to implement a new system regarding mark sheets of class 10th and 12th. Now the marksheet that will be given to the students will be more secure, stronger and durable than before. The board says that the main objective of this change is to stop attempts to make fake marksheets and to keep the document safe for a long time. Many such modern security features have been added to the new marksheet, which will make it almost impossible to copy it.
This time about 16 different security features are being added to the board marksheet. There will be some features which can be seen with normal eyes, while some features will be so special that special equipment will be required to identify them. Board officials believe that with these new technologies the security of the marksheet will become stronger than before.
Hologram and security code will also be included
Security coding and hologram will also be installed in the new marksheet. Apart from this, modern technologies like watermark and rainbow printing will be used in it. These features will not only make the marksheet special, but will also make its identification easy. If someone tries to copy the marksheet, it will be easy to catch him because of these security marks.
The size of the marksheet will change
This time a slight change has also been made in the size of the mark sheet. Now it will be prepared in A-4 size. Compared to before, it will be slightly longer and have a cleaner design, which will make it easier to read the information.

Marksheet will be strong and safe from water
This time the board has also paid special attention to the strength of the marksheet. The new marksheet is being prepared in such a way that it does not get torn easily. It is being made non-tear able, meaning it will be difficult to tear. Along with this, it is also being made waterproof. Even if water accidentally falls on the mark sheet, it will not get spoiled. It has been seen many times that old paper mark sheets start getting spoiled with time. Therefore, this time it is being made non-degradable so that its quality remains for a long time.
Overwriting will not be easy
Another special change has been made in the new marksheet. Such technology will be used in it so that no person will be able to try to overwrite it i.e. change the handwriting. If someone tries to do this, it will be known immediately. With this, students’ documents will remain more secure.
Scrutiny of copies started
This year, the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board have been completed on 12 March 2026. After the examination is over, the next big task is to check the answer sheets. According to the information received from the board, the scrutiny of copies will start from March 18. For this, centers have been set up in different districts, where teachers will evaluate the answer sheets. Meanwhile, the board has also decided that the marksheet to be released this year will be prepared with new design and new technology.
