What should be the educational qualification?
Candidates applying for RBI Assistant post must have graduation degree from any recognized university with at least 50 percent marks. For SC, ST and PwBD category candidates, only graduation is required. Hope. Candidate should have knowledge of the local language of the state from where he/she is applying. Understanding of the same language will be tested in the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The age of general category candidates should be between 20 to 28 years. As per government rules, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit. Age will be calculated on the basis of prescribed date given in the notification.

How much salary will you get?
After the 12th bilateral agreement, there has been a good increase in the salary of RBI Assistant. In which basic pay will be around Rs 29,000 per month, gross salary will be around Rs 58,514 (without HRA) and in-hand salary will be around Rs 50,000 to Rs 54,000 per month. RBI provides many attractive facilities to its employees. Like HRA (Housing Allowance) 15 percent of basic if not staying in bank quarters, Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance, News Paper/Book Allowance, Briefcase and Furnishing Allowance, Medical facility for employee and family, LFC (Leave Fare Concession), Traveling Allowance every two years.
