Lakhs of candidates preparing to become teachers across the country have given the CTET February 2026 exam. Now the eyes of all the candidates are fixed on only one thing that when will the answer key of CTET be released. The examination was conducted offline (pen and paper mode) on 7th and 8th February 2026. What will be released in CTET answer key 2026?
When the provisional answer key is released, the candidates will get not only the answer key but also many other facilities. Which includes the candidate’s scanned OMR sheet of answer key separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2, response sheet (which contains the answers filled by you) and the link to file online objection. With the help of all these facilities, candidates will be able to match their answers correctly.
When will CTET answer sheet be released?
The official date has not been announced yet by CBSE, but usually the provisional answer key is released a few days after the end of the examination. Therefore, it is expected that the answer key may be released by the third or fourth week of February 2026. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website from time to time so that they do not miss any update.
How to download CTET Answer Key 2026?
1. Downloading the answer key is very easy. For this, first official website ctet.nic.in Go to.
2. Click on CTET Feb 2026 Answer Key / Response Sheet link on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number or roll number and date of birth.
4. As soon as you login, your answer key and OMR sheet will appear on the screen.
5. Download the PDF and save or print it for future use.
How to view OMR sheet and response sheet?
Along with the provisional answer key, candidates will also be able to download their scanned OMR sheet. With this you will be able to see which option you filled in which question. You can estimate your probable score by matching the response sheet and the official answer key.
Method of filing objection
If a candidate feels that the answer to any question has been given wrong, he can file an online objection. To lodge an objection, login to the official website. Click on Challenge Answer Key link. Select related question. Upload supporting documents in support of the correct answer. Deposit the prescribed fee. The fee has been fixed at Rs 1000 per question. Fees will have to be deposited through online mode. Objections lodged without proof will not be accepted. All the objectives will be examined by a team of subject experts from the board. If your objection is found correct, it will be accepted.
When will the final answer key and result come?
After completion of review of all the objectives, CBSE will release the final answer key. The result of CTET February 2026 will be declared on the basis of the final answer key only. Usually the result is declared within a few weeks of the release of the provisional answer key.
