Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has come to a close date of preliminary eligibility test (PET 2025). This exam will be held on 6 and 7 September. 1479 examination centers have been set up in 48 districts of the entire state. This exam can prove to be an important stage of their career for millions of youth.
Why does PET exam take place?
PET i.e. preliminary eligibility test is a type of screening examination. After passing this, candidates can apply for various group C jobs of UP government. That is, this exam is the first step of government jobs. This time the Commission has made it clear that a total of 5,833 posts will be recruited through PET 2025. This includes jobs like Lower Subordinate, Junior Assistant, Lekhpal and Forest Guard. That is, this examination is mandatory for the candidates who dream that they get a government job. The score of this exam will also be useful in the upcoming recruitment processes.
Record breaking application
This time the enthusiasm of the youth in the PET exam is worth seeing. According to official data, a total of 25.31 lakh candidates have registered. This is a record in itself. About 6 lakh students will be included in every examination shift. This number shows how much is the desire to get a government job in the youth of UP.
Exam pattern
There will be a total of 2 papers in PET 2025. The first paper will be held on 6 September and the second paper will be held on 7 September. The time of exams on both days has been fixed from 10 am to 12 noon. The examination will be on the OMR sheet and a total of 100 objective questions will be asked in it. There will be 1 point on every correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted on the wrong answer. That is, the candidates will have to answer the questions carefully.
Strict arrangements to stop copying
It is not easy to conduct the examination on such a large scale. The administration has made adequate arrangements to make the examination completely fair and imitating. A total of 32,259 CCTV cameras have been installed at the examination centers. These cameras will have live monitoring of the exam. 2,958 sectors and static magistrates have been deployed to ensure safety and transparency. Apart from this, more than 1.64 lakh employees will be engaged in conducting the examination. The aim of these strict arrangements is that every candidate should get equal opportunities and the examination process should be completely transparent.
