AI Job Impact: Nowadays Artificial Intelligence (AI) is prevalent everywhere. In the recent past, millions of people have lost their jobs due to AI and warnings come every day that this new technology will eat away millions more jobs. Meanwhile, a report has come in which it has been told about those jobs on which AI will not have any impact. Even after AI becomes very advanced, these jobs will remain completely safe.
AI will not affect these tasks
AI company Anthropic recently did a research. In this, an attempt was made to know which tasks will have the least impact of AI in the future. It was found that the technology will have the least impact on jobs that require physical effort, being present on the spot, and direct interaction with people. Research has said that AI can do all the work that can be done on digital platforms, but work like repairing machines and providing service by talking to people cannot be done by AI right now.
These jobs are safe from AI
In its report, Anthropic has mentioned 6 such professions which are currently at least at risk from AI. These professions include cook, motorcycle mechanic, bar tender, lifeguard, dishwasher and dressing room attendant. All these professions require physical effort and the worker has to be present on the spot. These works cannot be done through any machine or digital platform.
These things came to light in the report
Anthropic’s report states that the impact of AI on any job depends on how much of its work can be done by AI. If most of the work involves computers or digital platforms, then AI can do these tasks easily. At the same time, if the work is done by being physically present and meeting people, then there is no threat of AI on them. There are about 30 percent jobs which cannot be thought of being replaced by AI right now.
