Important news has come out for lakhs of youth of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the probable examination calendar for the year 2026. The arrival of this calendar has brought great relief to the candidates preparing for government jobs and entrance examinations. Now candidates will be able to know in advance how long they have to prepare for which exam. This examination calendar has been made available on the official website of MPPSC.
The Commission has made it clear that this calendar is tentative. That is, there may be change in the dates of some examinations due to administrative reasons. Along with this, the State Service Main Examination 2025 will be conducted only after the instructions of the Honorable High Court. In such a situation, candidates have been advised to keep an eye on every new information released on the website.
Probable dates of 17 major exams
In this calendar of MPPSC, probable dates of a total of 17 major examinations related to administrative, technical, nursing, education, agriculture and police departments have been included. These include recruitment examinations as well as entrance and eligibility tests. This calendar is especially helpful for those youth who are preparing for more than one examination.
Exams will start from February
According to the examination calendar, the first major examination of the year 2026 is likely to be held on February 18. This examination will be for ITI Training Officer Recruitment Examination under the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment. Group-5 Staff Nurse Combined Recruitment Examination can also be conducted in the same month. This time is going to be very important for the candidates making a career in the nursing field.
Many recruitments in March and April
Safety and health related examinations are likely to be held in March 2026. This includes Field Guard, Jail Guard and Assistant Jail Superintendent Recruitment Examination as well as Hospital Assistant Grade-4 Recruitment Examination. After this, Group-02 Sub-Group-04 Recruitment Examination and Group-3 Sub Engineer Combined Recruitment Examination can be conducted in the month of April. This time will be very important for candidates with technical and engineering background.
Round of entrance examinations in May and June
Entrance examinations may start in May 2026. During this period, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Technology Diploma Entrance Examination, ANM Training Selection Examination will be conducted. There will be examinations for nursing and agriculture fields in the month of June. This includes Pre-Nursing Test, GNM Selection Test, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing Selection Test and Pre-Agriculture Test. This time will prove to be very important for students wishing to study in medical and agricultural fields.
Big recruitment exams in September and October
Group-02 Sub-Group-02 Recruitment Examination and Group-4 Recruitment Examination may be conducted in September 2026. Under Group-4, recruitment is done on posts like Assistant Grade-3, Stenotypist and Stenographer. After this, Group-01 Sub-Group-01, Group-02 Sub-Group-01 Recruitment Examination and Police Constable Recruitment Examination are likely to be conducted in October 2026. This will be the most important time for the youth preparing for recruitment in the police department.
