For thousands of students dreaming of medical studies, the wait has once again become long. The result of Round-1 seat allotment of NEET UG 2025 counseling will now be released not on August 9, but on August 11. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has taken this decision due to many technical and administrative reasons. In such a situation, the candidates who applied for Round-1 will have to wait two more days. This result can be seen on the official website of MCC mxc.nic.in. Choice filling deadline also increased
Not only the date of the result, but the last date of choice filling has also been extended. Now candidates can select their favorite courses and college till 12 pm on August 9. Earlier this time limit was August 8, but now the candidates have an additional chance of one day.
Why was this decision taken?
The MCC has written in its official notice that many candidates of NRI and Civil War category (CW) demanded additional time. Also, some cases are also being heard in the court. In view of these circumstances, both the last date for the choice filling of round-1 and the date of seat allotment have been extended.
New potential schedule
According to the new scheme, the result of seat allotment will be released on August 11. After this, candidates will have to report and join between August 9 to August 18, 2025. Any candidates who join the college, will verify their data from 19 to 20 August.

- Click on the NEET UG 2025 Seet Allotment link on the home page.
- Fill your credentials on the login page.
- After submitting, your seat will be seen on the allotment detail screen.
- Download the result and keep its print out save.
Mixed reaction among students
Candidates have different reactions to this change. Some students are happy to get extra time because they will be able to make decisions better in their choice filling. At the same time, many candidates are also disappointed because now they will have to wait for the result.
