Delhi Development Authority has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of consultant for its landscape department. This recruitment is special for those candidates who have education and experience related to architecture and landscape.
According to the notification, DDA is going to fill 14 posts of Consultant (Landscape Architect) and 3 posts of Consultant (Architect). Along with a good monthly salary, local conveyance will also be given on these posts, that is, the traveling expenses will be paid separately. Salary will be decided on the basis of experience. Candidates who have 5 to 10 years of experience will get higher salary and more conveyance, while the starting salary has been fixed for those with less experience.
What qualification is required?
Talking about qualification, for the post of Landscape Architect, Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university is required. Also, one should have experience of working on landscape projects. Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office is also required. Whereas for the post of Architect, Bachelor degree in Architecture and experience of landscape project is required. Experience of 5 to 10 years is desired for both the posts.
What is the age limit?
The age limit has also been fixed. The maximum age of the candidate should be 45 years as on the last date of application. Applications of candidates older than this will not be accepted.

How much salary will I get?
The candidate selected for these posts will also get a very good salary. If we talk about Consultant (Landscape Architect), the salary can range from Rs 52,500 to Rs 76,000. Whereas Consultant (Architect) can get salary ranging from Rs 47,000 to Rs 64,000.

The application process is not like filling the offline form. Candidates will have to visit the DDA website and see the notification and fill their information as per the given format. Information like name, address, date of birth, email, mobile number, educational qualification will have to be entered correctly. After affixing the passport size photograph and signing, all the necessary documents will have to be self-attested and scanned. After this, the complete application and biodata will have to be sent in PDF format to the official email ID of DDA consultant.rc@dda.org.in.
