After a long wait, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the result of CSIR-UGC NET June 2025. Those candidates who appeared in this examination can now check their scorecard by visiting the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. To see the result, the candidates will only have to enter their application number and date of birth.

In the PDF of the final answer given on the official website, candidates can see information like ID, option ID, subject ID, exam date and paper code.
When was the exam done?
This time the CSIR NET June exam was conducted on 28 July 2025. A total of 1,95,241 candidates got an opportunity to appear in this examination, out of which 1,47,732 candidates took the exam. The exam was conducted in two shifts. The first shift lasted from 9 am to 12 noon. The second shift concluded from 3 pm to 6 pm. This examination was conducted in 218 cities across the country, so that more and more candidates could appear in it.
How many marks need to be passed?
Cutoff percentage is already fixed to pass in CSIR NET. A minimum of 33% marks are required for general, EWS and OBC candidates. At the same time, SC, ST and PWD candidates will have to get at least 25% marks. Candidates who have secured these minimum marks will be considered eligible for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor.
What will be successful candidates?
Candidates who pass this exam will be issued eligibility certificate and JRF Award letter from the National Testing Agency. With the help of these documents, candidates can make a career in the field of research and teaching in higher education institutions and universities.
