If you want to work in the banking sector and have experience in areas like IT, cyber security or risk management, then Central Bank of India has issued a notification for the recruitment of 275 posts of Specialist Officer (SO). This recruitment will be done for different posts related to technology and risk. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online medium. Its application process has started from 28th February and will continue till 23rd March 2026. Candidates are advised not to wait for the last date and complete the application in time, so that any technical problem can be avoided.

1. Candidates have to visit the official portal to apply. There click on New Registration option and fill your basic information.
2. After registration, you will get a temporary registration number and password, which will be sent through SMS and email.
3. Login and fill the complete application form carefully. S
4. Upload the required documents (photo, signature, certificate etc.).
5. Pay the prescribed application fee online.
6. Re-check the form information from Save and Next option.
7. After final submission, take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe.
8. The bank has clearly said that once the form is submitted, no changes can be made in it. Therefore, check all the information carefully before submitting.
On which posts will there be recruitment?
These 275 posts are distributed across different technical and risk related areas, such as Java and .NET Software Development, Mobile Application Development, Database Administration, Digital Channel Management, Information Security and Cyber Security, Network and Cloud Management, Windows and Active Directory Administration, Data Engineering and Data Science, DevSecOps, Risk Management, IT Officer or Gen AI.
Educational Qualification and Experience
For most of the posts, the candidate should have BE/B.Tech or MCA degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Also, work experience of 2 to 10 years is necessary for different posts. For some positions, certifications related to Oracle, Red Hat, VMware, Microsoft, Spring Framework, and Cyber Security may be necessary or desirable.
